Michaele Shaffer
Beginning Ballet and Hip - Hop
Michaele has been with the PMD since she was 11 years old. She has been classically trained in ballet, tap and jazz, as well as a variety of other styles, including hip-hop, swing, pointe, modern and contemporary. Her classes focus on the basic principles of alignment, vocabulary, the importance of proper stretching and of course, having a great time!
She has been teaching workshops and classes in many studios around Los Angeles for the past 5 years, and has taught beginning and intermediate ballet and hip hop for the YMCA, Blackbird Dance Company, KDC Competition Team, the Martin Dancers, Kilikia Arts, and competition routines for Van Nuys High School.
As well as teaching, Michaele has worked with various choreographers as an assistant and stage manager for variety acts in venues across California. She is currently studying to acquire her bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a focus on Dance Education and Dance Science, as well as her Dance Teaching Certificate.
